My Story
After graduating from LSU, I launched my career as a mortgage underwriter—an experience that unexpectedly opened the door for me to the world of software development. I was recruited to join a team building a next‑generation underwriting platform, and that opportunity set me in an exciting and new direction. Stepping into the role of Business Systems Analyst, I immediately fell in love with the ability to strategize, problem-solve, and build something tangible that changed the face of the business.
From there, I immersed myself in financial‑lending software development, deepening my expertise across analysis, product development, product management, and the broader fintech ecosystem. My work with Capital One as a consulting Business Analyst on a major merger and acquisition initiative became a defining chapter, sharpening my skills in large‑scale project execution and cross‑functional collaboration.
At CRIF Lending Solutions, I expanded into leadership, managing and mentoring a team of up to ten Business Analysts and four QAs, while taking ownership of product strategy. I owned and managed the roadmap and backlog for more than 40 system integrations, navigating the intersection of technology, business needs, and user experience. After 14 years in fintech, I pivoted into Real Estate, applying my analytical and operational background to guide clients through high‑stakes transactions with clarity and confidence.
Today, I’m back in the tech arena as a Product Owner, leading a cross‑functional Scrum team and driving agile, user‑centric solutions that foster product and business growth. I am committed delivering solutions that move the business forward and create a lasting impact!
